Anna Tunnicliffe Tobias

Anna was born in England and moved to Ohio when she was 12. She raced collegiately at Old Dominion, and was a multi-time All American. She won a gold medal in the Laser Radial at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and finished fifth in the women’s match racing event at the 2012 London Olympics. She has been named US Sailing Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year four times, and is also a CrossFit Games Masters Champion.

Marbella Marlo

After growing up sailing in California, Marbella sailed for Harvard's Sailing Team as both a skipper and a crew. She helped lead Harvard to two national championships and won an additional US national championship and world championship outside of college sailing. In addition to earning All-American and All-Ivy titles, she concluded her college sailing career being named the 2024 College Crew of the Year.

Dawn Riley

Dawn grew up in Detroit, Michigan, and sailed collegiately at Michigan State University. As CEO and captain of America True, Dawn was the first woman to manage an America’s Cup sailing team. She has raced on four America’s Cup and two Whitbread teams, as watch captain and engineer of Maiden in 1989, and as captain of Heineken in 1993. She is now the Executive Director of Oakcliff Sailing.

Moderator: Venetia Satow

Venetia is a British-American 18 year old who sails out of Breakwater and Shelter Island Yacht Clubs. She has been sailing for three years and is primarily an ILCA 6 sailor. The founder of the first Sag Harbor Women’s Sailing Conference, Venetia is passionate about sailing and created the conference to attract top women sailors and inspire young female sailors around the Long Island Sound.
